Biography:

Bhoomika Shetty, an Indian actress renowned for her performances in the Kannada-language TV series “Kinnari” and the Telugu series “Ninne Pelladatha,” gained recognition as a finalist on the reality TV show “Bigg Boss Kannada.” Originating from Kundapura, situated in the West Coast Karavali region of Karnataka, she was born to Bhaskar and Baby Shetty. Fluent in both Kannada and Telugu, Bhoomi Shetty learned Yakshagana during her schooling.

Her acting career commenced with the television series “Kinnari,” where she portrayed the lead character, Mani. Additionally, she took on the main role of Mrudula in the Telugu serial “Ninne Pelladatha.” In 2019, she showcased her talent as a contestant on the seventh season of “Bigg Boss Kannada.” Transitioning to the big screen, she briefly appeared in the Telugu TV series “Akka Chellelu” in 2021 before making her film debut with the Kannada movie “Ikkat,” which premiered on Amazon Prime Video.

Bhoomi Shetty’s achievements extend beyond acting, as she was honored with the title of Hyderabad Times’ Most Desirable Woman of the Small Screen for the year 2018.
