Barney Alexander Harris is an English actor, writer, and producer who was born on July 15, 1996. His most well-known role was that of Mat Cauthon in the first season of the fantasy series The Wheel of Time on Amazon Prime Video. Harris received his education at Eton College after being born to Jewish parents in London. He is William Chandler’s great-grandson and the nephew of bookmaker Victor Chandler. He played Johnny “Rooster” Byron, a role created by Mark Rylance, in a school production of Jerusalem, where he first realized his love for acting.
