On November 19, 1984, Aditya Prateek Singh[a] was born in Delhi. His mother was a teacher from Punjab, and his father was a government official from Delhi. Aprajita Singh is the name of his younger sister.
He performed with the school chorus at Bal Bharati Public School in Pitampura, Delhi, where he finished his education. He studied civil engineering at the Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh, before turning to music full-time. It was there that he first heard modern Punjabi music, which inspired him to start producing rap songs.
