Avinash Tiwary is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi films and series. He rose to prominence with notable roles in his debut television series Yudh (2014) and the film Tu Hai Mera Sunday (2016) earning praise from critics. However, he gained widespread recognition for his performances in the romance Laila Majnu (2018) and the supernatural film Bulbbul (2020).
In theater, Tiwary collaborated with established artist Om Katare. Following his training at the New York Film Academy, he kickstarted his career with the documentary Anamika: Her Glorious Past in 2006. His Hindi film debut came in 2009 with Suno Na.. Ek Nanhi Aawaz, alongside Tara Sharma. Tiwary has since appeared in various projects including Ghost Stories (2020), the crime series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter (2022), Bambai Meri Jaan (2023), Kaala (2023), and the comedy film Madgaon Express (2024).
In 2020, Tiwary ventured into Netflix horror films, starring in and Bulbbul. His portrayal of Satya in Bulbbul was particularly praised for its depth.
