Attakathi Dinesh

Biography:

Indian actor Dinesh Ravi, born September 27, 1984, is also known as Gethu Dinesh and was formerly known as Attakathi Dinesh. He has acted in leading parts mostly in Tamil films. His breakout performance was in the starring role of Dinakaran in Attakathi (2012).

Dinesh finished his high school education in Chennai’s Washermenpet. He tried his hand at acting in 2010 after graduating from high school. Following Sakthi’s passing, he appeared in the Kadhalika Neramilai serial on Vijay TV. Dinesh earned his breakthrough in Attakathi (2012) after playing the son of actress Seetha in the Sun TV serial Penn and starring in small parts in Aadukalam (2011) and Mouna Guru (2011). In addition to receiving good reviews, the movie did well commercially.

One Rediff.com critic said, “He’s an actor of great promise.” Dinesh “diverts your attention from the film’s little flaws and spellbinds you with an endearing act that is Attakathi’s biggest strength,” according to a Sify.com critic. “Dinesh has come out with easily one of this year’s most confident films,” the critic added.
