Ato Essilfi Bracato Essandoh is an American actor who was born on July 29, 1972. He has made appearances in a number of films and television shows, including a significant part in the political drama series The Diplomat on Netflix in 2023. Born on July 29, 1972, in Schenectady, New York, Ato Essilfi Bracato Essandoh is the oldest child of Ghanaian parents Ebow and Monica Essandoh.

1990 saw him graduate from New Rochelle High School. Cornell University awarded him a B.S. in chemical engineering. He first became involved in theatre when a lover dared him to do so. James Price taught him acting at The Acting Studio-New York in New York City.
