Sarath Kumar, an Indian actor who primarily works in Malayalam and Tamil films, was born on December 28, 1992, and goes by his stage name, Appani Sarath.
Sarath rose to fame when he played Appani Ravi in Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Angamaly Diaries, which thrust him into the spotlight. Later, he portrayed Franklin in Lal Jose’s film Velipadinte Pusthakam, which was based on the well-known Jimikki Kammal song. In Sachin and Pokkiri Simon, he played significant roles.
Along with a small part in the 2018 Mani Ratnam film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, Sarath has also acted in a few Tamil films. He costarred in Sandakozhi 2, which is a follow-up to the 2005 film Sandakozhi, with Vishal. In the ZEE5 series Auto Shankar, he portrayed the well-known, infamous serial killer and criminal Auto Shankar.
