Anuja Sathe

Biography:

Anuja Sathe Gokhale is an Indian actress who primarily works in the Indian entertainment industry. She is married to fellow actor Saurabh Gokhale.

She began her professional journey in theatre, performing in several well-known Marathi stage productions, including Shobha Yatra and Uttar Ratra. Anuja later transitioned to Marathi television, followed by roles in mainstream Marathi cinema, and eventually expanded her career to Hindi television and Bollywood. She made her Hindi television debut as the lead character Dhara in the prime-time Star Plus serial Tamanna. She went on to portray Radhabai, the mother of Bajirao, in the historical drama Peshwa Bajirao, and later appeared as Jankibai in Khoob Ladi Mardaani… Jhansi Ki Rani. In the digital space, she gained attention for her powerful performance as a mafia leader in the MX Player web series Ek Thi Begum.

Anuja met Saurabh Gokhale, also a Marathi actor, while working on the television show Mandala Don Ghadicha Dav. The two eventually married in 2013.
