Actress Anu Krishna is from India and has acted in Tamil movies. She starred in the films Ilami (2016) and Kaththi (2014). Anu Krishna is from a Chennai-based Malayali family. She began her acting career as a child actor, most famously playing Krishna in Bapu’s Mahabhagavatham television series and subsequently Vijay’s sister in Friends (2001). With her performance in AR Murugadoss’s Kaththi (2014), where she once more played Vijay’s character’s sister, Anu Krishna made her acting debut.
She starred as the lead actress in several low-budget films in the mid-2010s, such as Ilaignar Paasarai (2015) and Chinnan Chiriya Vanna Paravai (2014). She most famously starred with Yuvan in the film based on Jallikattu, Ilami (2016), in the title character of a tribal peasant. She had “given a decent performance and was aptly cast,” according to a Deccan Chronicle critic, although the Times of India gave the movie a mixed review. Additionally, she starred in supporting parts in movies like 60 Vayadu Maaniram (2018) and Inba Twinkle Lilly (2018).
