The most well-known roles that Indian actress Anju has played in television shows and movies are in Malayalam and Tamil. Anju is a telefilm and soap opera actor from Tamil Nadu. In the 1979 Tamil film Uthiripookkal, she made her screen debut at the age of two.
She also had acting roles in Telugu and Kannada films. In 1988, she was the recipient of the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress, for the film Rukmini. K. P. Kumaran directed the movie, often spelled Rugmini.[1] Her early roles as a child performer earned her the nickname Baby Anju.
