Anita Date-Kelkar

Biography:

Anita was born in Nashik, Maharashtra, on October 31, 1980. She completed her education at Nashik’s M. R. Sharda Kanya Vidya Mandir and earned a Master of Arts from Pune University’s Lalit Kala Kendra. The Marathi movie Sanai Choughade marked the beginning of her career in 2008. Additionally, she starred in a number of Marathi films, including Adgula Madgula, Coffee Ani Barach Kahi, Ajoba, Popat, Seema, Gandha, Myna, A Paying Ghost, Jogwa, and others. She acted in the Hindi movie Aiyyaa in 2012. She appeared in Tumbbad in 2019.

Daar Ughada Na Gade, a Marathi serial, marked her television debut. She acted in minor roles in the Hindi serials Baal Veer, Bandini, and Bhai Bhaiya Aur Brother, as well as Agnihotra, Manthan, Anamika, and Eka Lagnachi Tisri Goshta. In Zed Marathi’s Majhya Navaryachi Bayko, she portrayed the lead. Since 2022, she has been portraying Rama in Nava Gadi Nava Rajya on Zed Marathi.
