Ananth Vaidyanathan

Biography:

Indian singing coach Ananth Vaidyanathan was born on November 1, 1957, and he is well-known for his participation in reality singing competitions on TV. He is frequently recognized as the top voice specialist in India. In addition, he performed playback vocals and acted in a few movies.

Born in Jamshedpur, Ananth Vaidyanathan started learning music at the age of seven from seasoned teachers T. M. Thiagarajan and Sangita Kalanidhi.[2] He graduated with an MBA from the Xavier School of Management at XLRI, and he attended Loyola College in Chennai for his undergraduate studies in economics. At the age of 24, he enrolled in Kolkata’s ITC Sangeet Research Academy, a musical academy, following the completion of his postgraduate studies.

In his early days as a singing instructor, he accused himself of using incorrect vocal techniques. In addition, having received professional training in classical music, he dealt with vocal problems during his Hindustani music study. He also lost his speaking voice in his early 20s and was told to sing slowly because of his vocal problems. In the 1990s, he overcame all obstacles to become a professional voice specialist and began giving workshops around the nation.

In addition to teaching music, he started training competitors on Indian TV reality programs in 2006 and offering voice lessons. In Coimbatore, he also founded the Ananth Vaidyanathan Gurukulam vocal training institute. He has participated in the Airtel Super Singer and Josco Indian Voice-Mazhavil Manorama events as a voice specialist on television, where he trains the competitors’ voices.

He made an acting appearance in the 2010 Tamil comic drama film Avan Ivan by Bala, in which he played the father of the two main characters, Vishal and Arya, who were polygamists. He participated in the 2018 season of Bigg Boss, a Tamil reality television program presented by Kamal Haasan, as one of the sixteen competitors. On day 21, he was the second participant to be removed from the show In the movie LKG, he also had a cameo as a politician.
