Actor Anang Desai is an Indian who was born on May 4, 1953. Renowned for his depiction as Babuji in the television series Khichdi and its film adaptation, Desai has starred in over 70 films and 100 television shows. He is a graduate of the National School of Drama, New Delhi, where he participated in the professional repertory program and gave numerous performances in Hindi theater before to launching his career in television and movies. Anang Desai made his film debut in Gandhi in 1982, playing politician J. B. Kripalani, an Indian national.
