C. M. A. Arasakumar

Biography:

Anal Arasu, originally named C. M. A. Arasakumar, is a prominent Indian fight master and action choreographer, actively contributing to the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi film industries. He initially commenced his career as an extra fighter and assistant to established stunt masters like Kanal Kannan, Stun Siva, Peter Hein, and Jaguar Thangam. His adeptness in action choreography has been widely recognized by both audiences and critics.

Inspired by his father, C. M. Arasu, who had a significant presence in the film industry during the 1980s, Arasu’s passion for becoming an “action man” stemmed from an early age. His initiation into the field began with the movie “Chatrapathy.”

Throughout his journey, Arasu has engaged in notable collaborations with esteemed directors and filmmakers. Notably, he partnered with Prabhu Deva for action-oriented films like “Vedi” (2011) and “Rowdy Rathore” (2012). He also teamed up with A. R. Murugadoss for “Kaththi” (2014) and S. Shankar for “I” (2015), showcasing his versatility and expertise in the realm of action choreography.
