Born on June 5, 1979, in Delhi, Sadh completed his education at La Martiniere College, Lucknow. His father, Ram Chandra Dogra, was a national-level hockey player who passed away when Amit was just 16. His family hails from Punjab, and at the age of 21, he moved to Mumbai to pursue an acting career.
Amit Sadh began his acting journey with the teen drama Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr and participated in reality shows like Nach Baliye 1 and Bigg Boss 1. He also starred as Kshitij in Shobna Desai’s soap opera Durgesh Nandinii on Sony Entertainment Television. Additionally, he played pivotal roles in the military drama Avrodh: The Siege Within, based on the 2016 Uri attack, and in the series Jeet Ki Zid, which chronicles the life of Major Deependra Singh Sengar, an army officer.
