Biography:

Ambrish Verma is an Indian filmmaker, writer, actor, and director and has been a trailblazing creator of Hindi digital entertainment and web series. Beginning his creative journey as a corporate media marketer and an independent theater artist, he became widely acclaimed for his raw, gritty, high-stakes character-driven narratives and an unconventional approach to the storytelling of realistic human ambitions and serious social issues. Working extensively in close collaboration with The Viral Fever (TVF), Verma has greatly contributed towards crafting avant-garde internet dramas that laid the foundational blueprint for present-day India’s OTT segment by combining insights on the mindset of young audiences and high emotional stakes.

Ambrish’s feature debut includes the critically applauded Hindi detective-thriller; Dude (2021), and subsequent directing, writing and starring in a highly lauded, slice-of-life series; NCR Days (2022).

He subsequently achieved paramount critical & commercial success with his magnum opus; Sapne Vs Everyone (2023-2026) wherein he featured as the protagonist anti-hero character, ‘Jimmy’.
