American novelist, screenwriter, and filmmaker Allison Burnett was born on December 16, 1958. Bloodfist III: Forced to Fight (1992), a kickboxing prison thriller that Burnett co-wrote with Charles Mattera, was his first screenplay to be produced [4]. In addition, he developed the screenplay for Gregory Hines’ first feature picture, Bleeding Hearts (1994) and directed Red Meat (1997), which starred John Slattery, Jennifer Grey, and Lara Flynn Boyle.
