Biography:

Alex, an Indian actor and magician, made his mark in the Tamil film industry, featuring in over 100 films throughout his career. He commenced his cinematic journey in the 1993 movie “Valli,” a production spearheaded by Rajinikanth. His performances in films like “Mitta Miraasu” and “Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi” garnered critical acclaim, earning him awards and recognition for his exceptional portrayal of characters.

Acknowledged for his talent and contribution, Alex received accolades such as the Kalaimamani award from the state government and the state award for best character for his role in “Mitta Miraasu” in 2001. Beyond his acting career, he actively served as an office-bearer in the South Indian Film Artistes’ Association. His proficiency in magic led to impressive feats, landing him a place in both The Guinness Book of World Records and the Limca Book of Records for an astonishing non-stop 24-hour magic performance.

Tragically, Alex passed away at the age of 52 in a private hospital in Chennai after a brief illness on May 1, 2011. His legacy endures through his contributions to cinema and his extraordinary talent as both an actor and a magician. He left behind his wife and two daughters upon his untimely demise.
