Biography:

Alan Wray Tudyk is an American actor who was born on March 16, 1971. 28 Days (2000), A Knight’s Tale (2001), Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004), 3:10 to Yuma (2007), and Trumbo (2015) are among the films in which he has appeared. Tucker & Dale vs. Evil (2010) was a black comedy horror film in which he starred.

Tudyk is well-known for his frequent appearances in science fiction. He played the title role in the series Resident Alien (2021–2025), Dollhouse (2009–2010), Eric Morden/Mr. Nobody on the series Doom Patrol (2019), and Wash on the cult classic space Western drama series Firefly (2002–2003), which he reprised in the 2005 continuation film Serenity. In addition to appearing in Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015), he performed voice and motion capture for the robot Sonny in I, Robot (2004).

Tudyk is a voice actor as well. The superhero series Young Justice (2010–2013, 2019), Ludo in Star vs. the Forces of Evil (2015–2019), Dangerboat in the television series The Tick (2017–2019), and K-2SO in the movie Rogue One (2016) and its prequel series Andor (2025) are among the notable parts. The Joker and Clayface are currently voiced by Tudyk in the Harley Quinn television series. Tudyk provided the voice of Optimus Prime in the anime series Transformers: EarthSpark from 2022 to 2025.

In 2024, he reappeared as Clayface in Creature Commandos and provided the voice of Alex Sartorius/Doctor Phosphorus. He contributed motion capture and voice acting for 4, also known as “Gary,” in James Gunn’s Superman in 2025. In addition to returning to his roles as K-2SO in Star Wars Battlefront (2015) and the Green Arrow in several DC Comics super hero video games [which?] (2013, 2015, and 2017), he voiced Mickey in Halo 3: ODST (2009). and since 2012 has provided voices for characters in movies produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. He is the third highest-grossing actor of all time when all of his roles are taken into account.
