Ajay Buuyan is a Rising Kollywood director hopes to gain experience in both Bollywood and Kollywood. He aspires to become the newest director to enter the business purely out of love for the motion picture medium. Ajay received his schooling and was born in Hyderabad. Due to his merit, he was accepted to IIT Delhi after completing his secondary education there, and he went on to complete his post-graduation studies at IIM Bangalore. After achieving great success as an aluminum employee at ITT and IIM, Ajay moved to Singapore to work for Procter & Gamble for a period of two years. He has added to his income from his Procter & Gamble job in Singapore in order to pay for his film studies at New York University.

The filmmaker even admitted to a media outlet that he went overboard with the budget, claiming that it is currently the most expensive back-to-back film production cost when factoring in the cost of shooting dance sequences, foreign locations, etc. Following two Tollywood projects, he tried his hand at directing Pyxis Pictures’ romantic comedy “Amit Sahni Ki List” (2014). Anindita Nayar, Vega Tamotia, and Vir Das portrayed the main roles. The primary idea for the plot of the movie came from Rohit Banawlikar’s story. The Hindi film ‘Phir Se’ was directed by Ajay Bhuyan and Jual Kohli in the year 2019. Although a 2015 release was planned, the web film was eventually made available on Netflix.
