Afzal Sayyed

Biography:

Afzal Sayyed is a television and digital content director of India who specializes in Hindi drama, romance, and thriller series. He started off his career as an assistant director and later on became an independent director gaining fame through his success in the field of television filmmaking. Sayyed has directed several popular daily soaps and fictional shows in a variety of genres such as romance, family drama, supernatural and thrillers. His directing skills have earned him an image of being a notable television director through his well-shot visual scenes, emotional stories, and character-centric plots.

His popular work includes Ishk Par Zor Nahi, a serial from Sony SAB which gained him more popularity after that he directed the serial from Disney+ Hotstar named Aashiqana (2022-2024) starring Zayn Ibad Khan and Khushi Dubey. Some of the other works include Tera Mera Saath Rahe (2021-2022), Shubh Shagun (2022), Badi Heroine Banti Hai (2024), Shamshaan Champa (2024), Qayaamat Se Qayaamat Tak (2024) and Jaadu Teri Nazar – Daayan Ka Mausam (2025).
