Greek-American actor Adonis Kapsalis (Greek: Αντώνης Kαψάλης) was born on November 11, 1980. He has starred in movies and television shows including the 2012 Greek drama Meteora, Homeland on Showtime, and The Crown on Netflix.
After leaving his birthplace of Thessaloniki, Kapsalis resided in New York, Los Angeles, and London. He attended New York City’s American Musical and Dramatic Academy to further his education.
In her early career, Kapsalis appeared in a number of Off-Broadway productions before turning to the big screen.
After making his TV debut in the sitcom Sex and the City, he went on to star in the action/comedy The Sky is Blue (2014), As The World Turns on CBS, and the HBO made-for-cable feature Angels in America.
In 2010, Kapsalis was in negotiations to co-star with Olympia Dukakis in the American film Bereave, which was released in 2015. Kapsalis is currently scheduled to feature in Kabir Khan’s feature film Chandu Champion.
In February 2012, during the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival, Kapsalis worked as an associate producer on the independent film Meteora, which received a Golden Bear nomination.
