Chandrayan

Story:

Chandrayan is an upcoming Telugu adventure-comedy film that brings together friendship, ambition and hilarious misadventures through an unusual journey towards the Moon. Directed by Srinath Chandrasekhar, the film follows four young men from the town of Mandamarri who dream of achieving something extraordinary despite being underestimated by the people around them. Their bold idea is to build a rocket and travel to the Moon, setting off a chain of entertaining situations as they attempt something far beyond their experience.

At the heart of the story is the spirit of daring to dream big, even when the odds seem impossible. The friends’ lack of scientific knowledge makes their ambitious mission especially unpredictable, creating opportunities for light-hearted comedy, unexpected challenges and memorable moments. Rather than presenting a conventional space adventure, the film appears to use its imaginative premise to explore youthful determination, teamwork and the fun that emerges when ordinary people attempt extraordinary things.

Shiva Kumar Dheekonda plays the lead role, with Swapna Priyadarshini as the female lead. The supporting cast includes Ravi Siva Teja, Vamshidhar, Lokesh and Balagam Satyanarayana. The film is produced by Praveen Molaka under the Simba Screen Stories banner and presented by Venu Udugula. Harsha Prawin composes the music, Srinivasa B handles cinematography, and P. Teja Dasari is credited as editor.

Scheduled for a theatrical release on November 13, 2026, Chandrayan aims to offer Telugu audiences a fresh, humorous take on friendship, ambition and an out-of-this-world adventure.
