Aditya Vikram Sengupta is an Indian film director, graphic designer, and cinematographer who was born on September 6, 1983. He earned the National Award for Best Debut in India for his debut film, Asha Jaoar Majhe, also known as Labour of Love, which debuted at the 11th Venice Days portion of the Venice International Film Festival in 2014.The Bengali film Asha Jaoar Majhe (English: Labour of Love), which debuted on September 4, 2014, at the 11th Venice Days at the Venice International Film Festival, marked his debut as a director. It took home the Indira Gandhi Award for Best First Film of a Director and Best Audiography at the 62nd National Film Awards.
