Abhinav Pareek

Biography:

Abhinav Pareek is an Indian filmmaker, writer, and director well-known for his contribution in making Hindi films and digital content. As an assistant director, he worked with famous director Anurag Kashyap in the film Ugly (2013) and in the anthology film, Bombay Talkies (2013). From these experiences, he learned how to make movies that have realistic characters and storylines before he started independent directing. In his directorial efforts, he has been noted for his interest in the theme of family relationships, human emotions, and psychology through modern storylines.

Sab Moh Maaya Hai (2023), a family drama that was his first directorial film starring Sharman Joshi and Annu Kapoor, gained recognition due to his realistic depiction of the father-son relationship and dreams of middle class people. Later, he released A Wedding Story (2024), a supernatural horror movie where he explored a different genre with a folklore storyline. He has also directed Fauji 2 (2024-2025) and Vimal Khanna (2026), a military drama series. For his ability to maintain a good balance between realism and box office success, Abhinav Pareek has established himself as a contemporary director in the world of Hindi films and digital entertainment.
