Harendra Singh is a skilled Indian cinematographer recognized for his contributions to both Bengali and Hindi cinema. He gained prominence as the director of photography for The Broken News (2022), a Hindi-language newsroom drama that premiered on ZEE5. Directed by Vinay Waikul, the series is a remake of the British show Press and stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Sonali Bendre, and Shriya Pilgaonkar.
Singh started his career in Bengali cinema, making his feature film debut with the 2014 action thriller Buno Haansh, directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and based on a novel by Samaresh Majumdar. The film featured Dev, Srabanti Chatterjee, and Tanusree Chakraborty in lead roles. He later worked on Nilachaley Kiriti in 2018, a detective drama centered around the legendary sleuth Kiriti Roy.
