Abhay Mahajan

Biography:

Abhay Mahajan is a talented Indian actor best known for his role in TVF’s acclaimed drama series Pitchers. With a strong foundation in theatre and performing arts, he has carved a niche for himself in both digital and traditional entertainment platforms.

Born and raised in Pune, Mahajan completed his schooling at Abhinava Vidyalaya before pursuing his higher education at Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce. His acting journey began at a young age as a child actor, eventually leading him to relocate to Mumbai in 2015 to further his career in the entertainment industry.

Beyond acting, Mahajan has honed his craft in movement-based performance. He underwent a year-long training in body movement at the Attakkalari Institute of Movement Arts in Bengaluru and now shares his expertise by conducting body movement workshops. His passion for theatre is evident through his association as one of the founding members of Natak Company, a renowned Pune-based theatre troupe. Over the years, he has remained deeply involved in the theatre scene and has contributed to several award-winning and critically acclaimed films.

In addition to his mainstream acting projects, Mahajan gained significant recognition in 2018 for his portrayal of Hari Potdar in If Hogwarts was a Marathi School, a Harry Potter spoof video by Bharatiya Digital Party. His ability to seamlessly blend humor with strong performances has further cemented his position as a versatile actor in the industry.
