Aahana Kumra, an accomplished Indian actress in the realms of feature films, television, and theatre, made her mark on the small screen with her debut in Sony Entertainment Television’s Yudh alongside Amitabh Bachchan. She further showcased her talent as the lead in the TV series Agent Raghav – Crime Branch, starring alongside Sharad Kelkar. Kumra, originally from Lucknow, developed a passion for acting in her childhood, initially taking on roles in theatre.
Her television journey continued with the 2013 series Yudh, a 20-episode show featuring Amitabh Bachchan, where Kumra played a crucial role as Bachchan’s daughter. Subsequently, she took on the lead role of Agent Trisha Dewan in Agent Raghav – Crime Branch, a biweekly crime thriller alongside Sharad Kelkar. Kumra’s achievements include winning the Best Actress Award at the Third Moida International Awards for her short film Siberia.
Venturing into Hindi feature films, Kumra made her debut in Sona Spa in 2013 and extended her repertoire with the Tulu feature film Kudla Cafe in 2015. She even stepped into the realm of sports hosting by presenting the Pro Kabbadi 2016 series. In 2017, Kumra played a prominent role in the black comedy film Lipstick Under My Burkha as Leela. The following year, she portrayed Priyanka Gandhi in the political biography film The Accidental Prime Minister.
