Aadhirai Soundararajan

Biography:

Aadhirai Soundararajan, born on July 11th in Tirupur, emerged from a supportive upbringing by her parents, Soundararajan and Shanthi, both employed in the private sector. She pursued her BBM and MBA at a renowned Coimbatore college. After her MBA, Aadhirai’s interest turned towards acting. Given the freedom by her parents to choose her career, she relocated to Chennai, seeking opportunities in the film industry.

Having gained experience in commercials, Aadhirai Soundararajan debuted in the movie “Kanchana 3,” featuring Raghava Lawrence. Her breakthrough came when Atlee, after auditioning her, cast her for a significant role in “Bigil,” alongside stars Vijay and Nayanthara. Aadhirai acknowledges that if not for acting, she might have been employed in the IT sector.

Aadhirai Soundararajan, an Indian cinema artist, has contributed to multiple South Indian films. Commencing her journey in 2019, Aadhirai entered the film scene with a notable appearance in “Bigil.” Directed by Atlee Kumar and starring Vijay, Nayanthara, Varsha Bollamma, and Reba Monica John, the movie hit theaters on October 25, 2019. It achieved substantial box office success and received favorable reviews from both audiences and critics.
