Biography:

Veera Sanker is a multifaceted individual involved in various roles within the Telugu and Kannada film industries, including directing, writing, and producing. He marked his directorial debut in 1997 with the film titled “Hello! I Love You,” featuring Srikanth and Sadhika in the lead roles. This movie was an adaptation of the renowned novel “Vennello Aadapilla” penned by Yandamuri Veerendranath. It garnered recognition by winning the State Award for Best Editing.

Following this achievement, he went on to direct two more films, namely “Premakosam” and “Vijaya Ramaraju,” both of which received three State Awards. However, his career took a significant leap when he directed the family-oriented film “Gudumba Shankar,” starring Pawan Kalyan, which became a major success.

Veera Sanker continued to make a mark in the industry by helming Puneeth Rajkumar’s “Namma Basava,” which achieved significant success and enjoyed a successful 100-day run in numerous theaters. In addition to directing, he was actively involved in producing, writing the story, and crafting the screenplay for his projects.

His subsequent venture was “Anthu Inthu Preeti Banthu,” followed by the Telugu film “Mana Kurralle,” which was released on January 1, 2015. His dedication to the film industry extended to his role as the President of the Telugu Film Directors Association, a position he held from 2014 to 2018.
