Siddu Jonnalagadda

Biography:

Siddu Jonnalagadda is an Indian actor, screenwriter, playback singer, and editor active in the Telugu film industry. He stepped into the spotlight with his leading role in “Life Before Wedding” (2011). He further marked his presence in Tamil cinema with his acclaimed debut in “Vallinam.” Notably, Jonnalagadda also co-wrote and starred in noteworthy films like “Guntur Talkies” (2016), “Krishna and His Leela” (2020), “Maa Vintha Gaadha Vinuma” (2020), and “DJ Tillu” (2022), solidifying his position as a lead actor.

Born and raised in Hyderabad, Siddu Jonnalagadda pursued an MBA before embarking on his journey in the film industry. He made his leading debut in Praveen Sattaru’s “LBW: Life Before Wedding,” and in the interim, he appeared in the Tamil film “Vallinam” (2014) and “Ice Cream 2” (2014), before securing the lead role in Sattaru’s “Guntur Talkies” (2016). In the romantic drama “Krishna and His Leela,” where he shares the screen with Shraddha Srinath, Shalini Vadnikatti, and Seerat Kapoor, Siddhu shines as the lead. A review from The Times of India praised his performance, stating, “Siddhu effortlessly and brilliantly embodies his character, a role that hinges on naturalness.”

Siddu Jonnalagadda is set to reprise Rajkummar Rao’s role in the Telugu remake of “Queen,” titled “That Is Mahalakshmi.”
