Shiva Nirvana

Biography:

Shiva Shankar Lalam, professionally known as Shiva Nirvana, is a filmmaker and screenwriter in the Telugu cinema industry. He has directed three movies, namely Ninnu Kori (2017), Majili (2019), and Tuck Jagadish (2021).
Nirvana was born in Sabbavaram, Visakhapatnam district, Andhra Pradesh. While his original name is Siva Sankar Lalam, he decided to adopt ‘Nirvana’ as his surname because he felt a strong connection to it when he first encountered it. He completed his Bachelor of Education and worked as a Biology teacher for a period of two years. Later, Nirvana shifted to Hyderabad and served as an assistant director to Ram Gopal Varma in Rakta Charitra (2010) and to Parasuram in Solo (2011).
