Shekar Basha, popularly known as RJ Shekar, is a highly accomplished Indian radio jockey who has made a significant impact on the airwaves. Based in Hyderabad, he has earned an impressive 18 Excellence in Radio Awards, a remarkable achievement, making him the most awarded radio jockey in India. Notably, he was honored with the “RJ of the Year 2019” award by the India Radio Forum, one of the most prestigious accolades in the radio industry. RJ Shekar’s career journey began in 2005 as a video jockey on Gemini Music, an Indian Telugu music channel.
