Sai Abhyankkar

Biography:

Sai Abhyankkar (born 4 November 2004) is a rising Indian composer and singer, primarily working in Tamil cinema. He hails from a musically renowned family—his parents are celebrated playback singers Tippu and Harini, and his sister, Sai Smriti, is also a vocalist.

Abhyankkar made a striking entry into the independent music scene with his debut single “Katchi Sera”, released under Think Indie. The song, featuring Samyuktha Viswanathan, quickly became a viral sensation, amassing over 200 million views on YouTube and ranking as one of the most searched tracks globally in 2024.

Building on this momentum, he released another hit single, “Aasa Kooda”, starring Preity Mukhundhan, which also crossed 200 million views and trended widely on social media. That same day, he signed on for his debut film project, Benz, a Tamil feature starring Raghava Lawrence, directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and presented by Lokesh Kanagaraj. His inclusion in the film was officially announced on 4 November, coinciding with his birthday.

In 2025, he continued to make waves in the independent music space with the release of “Sithira Puthiri” on 31 January, featuring Meenakshi Chaudhary. Following the success of his musical ventures, Abhyankkar was also signed for Suriya 45, further solidifying his place in the Tamil film music industry. His dynamic compositions and viral appeal have quickly established him as one of the most promising young talents in Indian music today.
