Rajeev Ravi is an acclaimed Indian cinematographer and film director. He was born on December 30, 1969, in Kochi, Kerala, India. Rajeev Ravi is known for his distinctive and innovative visual style, often characterized by realistic and gritty aesthetics.

Rajeev Ravi began his career as a cinematographer and has worked on several notable films in Indian cinema. He gained recognition for his work in the critically acclaimed film “Dev.D” (2009), directed by Anurag Kashyap, for which he won the National Film Award for Best Cinematography. Ravi’s cinematography in “Gangs of Wasseypur” (2012), also directed by Anurag Kashyap, received widespread acclaim.

In addition to his cinematography work, Rajeev Ravi has also ventured into directing. His directorial debut was the Malayalam film “Annayum Rasoolum” (2013), which garnered positive reviews for its realistic portrayal of a love story set in the backdrop of Kochi.
