Kumar Mangat Pathak

Biography:

Kumar Mangat Pathak, born in Punjab, India, is a prominent Bollywood producer known for his work on a variety of notable films.

His works include- In “Omkara” (2006), a Shakespearean adaptation of “Othello,” Ajay Devgn plays a political enforcer whose life unravels due to jealousy and deceit.

“Special 26” (2013) is a heist drama inspired by true events, where a group of con artists conducts fake income tax raids.

“Drishyam” (2015) and its sequel “Drishyam 2” (2022) follow a man, played by Ajay Devgn, who goes to great lengths to protect his family from being implicated in a crime.

“Guest iin London” (2017) is a comedy about an uninvited guest causing chaos in a young couple’s home. “Raid” (2018) depicts a high-stakes raid on a corrupt politician’s mansion, showcasing themes of integrity and justice.

Pathak has also collaborated with his son, Abhishek Pathak, on films such as “Ujda Chaman,” a comedy about a young man struggling with premature baldness; “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” and its sequel, which are romantic comedies exploring the humorous struggles of modern relationships; “Section 375,” a courtroom drama addressing the complexities of a rape case; and “Khuda Haafiz,” an action thriller about a man searching for his missing wife in a foreign land.

Pathak founded and manages Panorama Studios, a significant film production and distribution company in India, and serves as Ajay Devgn’s manager.
