Khalid Rahman

Biography:

Khalid Rahman is an Indian filmmaker and actor active in the Malayalam film industry. He marked his directorial debut with the film “Anuraga Karikkin Vellam.” His filmography also includes notable works such as “Unda,” “Love,” and “Thallumaala.”

Renowned director-cinematographer Shyju Khalid and cinematographer Jimshi Khalid are his siblings, while his father is actor V. P. Khalid.

Beginning his career as an assistant director in Malayalam cinema, Khalid Rahman contributed to films like “Ustad Hotel,” “Sapthamashree Thaskaraha,” “Parava,” and “Mayaanadhi,” where he also showcased his acting skills. His third directorial venture, “Love,” was filmed indoors during the pandemic lockdown and was subsequently released on OTT platforms, including Netflix.
