Fardeen Khan

Biography:

Fardeen Khan, an Indian actor primarily active in Hindi cinema, belongs to the esteemed Khan family, with his father being the renowned actor and film producer Feroz Khan. He received a Filmfare Award for his debut performance in Prem Aggan (1998).

Following his debut, Khan starred in various films including Jungle (2000), Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (2001), Bhoot (2003), Dev (2004), No Entry (2005), and All the Best (2009). However, his career saw a decline with subsequent critical and commercial disappointments. After his appearance in Dulha Mil Gaya (2010), Khan took a hiatus from acting to focus on his family. His return to the silver screen was marked by his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi (2024). In addition to his comeback, Khan has been announced as part of the cast for Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5, slated for release in 2025.

Born on 8 March 1974 in Mumbai, Fardeen Khan hails from a diverse background, with Pashtun and Persian ancestry from his father’s side, and Sindhi heritage from his mother. He is the nephew of actors Sanjay Khan and Akbar Khan, and the cousin of fashion designer Suzanne Khan and actor Zayed Khan. After completing his business management studies at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Khan returned to India to pursue his passion for acting, undergoing training at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute. He is married to Natasha Madhvani, the daughter of actress Mumtaz, and together they have a daughter and a son.
