Dushara Vijayan

Biography:

Indian actress Dushara Vijayan is well-known for her roles in Tamil films. She debuted in the 2019 Tamil film Bodhai Yeri Budhi Maari. She became well-known for her roles in Natchathiram Nagargiradhu (2022) and Sarpatta Parambarai (2021).

She has won an OTTplay award, a JFW award, a Galatta Crown Award, and a Tamil Nakshatram Award. Dushara, who was born in Dindigul, first studied engineering before giving it up to focus on fashion. Before working on the dog-based movie Anbulla Ghilli (2022), she made her acting debut in the 2019 indie film Bodhai Yeri Budhi Maari.

In the sports drama Sarpatta Parambarai (2021), Dushara made her big screen debut as a fierce woman from Madras in the 1970s. Director Pa. Ranjith summoned her for a twenty-minute audition after seeing a picture of her on Twitter, and she was chosen for the movie. Ranjith eventually decided to cast her in the part, even though he wasn’t immediately sure.

She picked up certain behavioral characteristics and learned the lingo of North Chennai in order to get ready for the movie. The movie received favorable reviews when it first came out, and Dushara’s performance was praised.

Dushara costarred with Arjun Das in Pa. Ranjith’s love movie Natchathiram Nagargiradhu (2022) and is set to star alongside Vasanthabalan in the thriller Aneethi.
