Abhay Pannu

Biography:

Abhay Pannu is a prolific Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, and director whose work spans Hindi films and digital entertainment. His early work includes that of an assistant director where he was involved in the creation of movies like Naam Shabana (2017), Time Out (2017), Kaushiki (2018), Yeh Meri Family (2018), Marjaavaan (2019), and Mumbai Diaries 26/11 (2021).

He has made his mark in the history of film industry by being the creator, writer, and director of the much-acclaimed biographical drama series Rocket Boys (2022-2023) of SonyLIV on the lives of two Indian scientists, Dr. Homi J. Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. Rocket Boys has earned numerous accolades, including the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Director – Drama (OTT). Pannu is also known for being the writer and director of the upcoming horror feature for Yash Raj Films. Pannu is known for making movies and series that involve the retelling of historic events blended with great stories and research.
