SS Thaman has been hailed beyond expectations in recent times, for his contribution to elevating every film he has worked on, to the next level. Not only has the music director provided some unforgettable albums, but has also provided an equally unforgettable impact with the background score for his films. Naturally, everyone was expecting that the music director would repeat the magic for Superstar Mahesh Babu’s recent film Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
However, contrary to popular beliefs, SVP’s background score was considered to be mediocre at best, and with the exception of Kalaavathi and Ma Ma Mahesha, no other song from the film managed to create any impact. Mahesh’s fans were very vocal about their disappointment in Thaman for the film. As such, several questions and doubts have been raised against the musician’s involvement in Mahesh’s next with director Trivikram Srinivas.
Thaman has now promised Mahesh’s fans that he wouldn’t disappoint them this time and that he would give a banger of an album, and an equally memorable background score. It is now to be seen if he will be able to deliver on his promise.
