Rukmini Vasanth, who acted in a few small films earlier, became a star with Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati. Her performance received huge appreciation, and soon she started getting offers in all South languages.
Right now, she has four major projects in hand. Her next release is Madharasi, directed by AR Murugadoss and starring Sivakarthikeyan which is set to hit screens on September 5th. Just a month later, she will be seen in Rishab Shetty’s highly anticipated Kantara 2, releasing on October 2nd.
She is also busy shooting for Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel and starring NTR, which is slated for next year. Another big project is Yash’s Toxic, his immediate film after the blockbuster KGF series.
Reports also suggest she will play the lead in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film with Dhruv Vikram, starting this November.
Along with this, she has four more films in Tamil and Kannada under discussion, making her one of the busiest actresses in South cinema.
