Baby’s Dominance: Breaking Arjun Reddy’s Records

Vijay Deverakonda’s Arjun Reddy has often been considered the benchmark for intense love dramas in the film industry. Films such as RX 100 and Vijay’s own World Famous Lover have frequently been compared to Sandeep Vanga’s blockbuster, especially since the release of Baby. The presence of Anand Deverakonda in Baby sparked numerous comparisons from the very first day of its release.

Vijay himself stated that Baby was a film of Arjun Reddy’s caliber for his brother Anand. Moreover, Baby has outperformed Arjun Reddy at the box office. While Arjun Reddy excelled in A Centers and overseas markets in 2017, its performance in B and C centers was not as impressive.

In contrast, Baby is performing exceptionally well across all markets, including mass centers. Arjun Reddy achieved a worldwide share of Rs 25 crore, whereas Baby is projected to collect more than Rs 35 crore and has a good chance of reaching the coveted Rs 40 crore club. The film stars Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Viraj Ashwin alongside Anand Deverakonda.

Despite being sold for just Rs 9 crore for its theatrical rights, Baby has effortlessly surpassed this figure and has emerged as a sensational blockbuster. Overall, Baby has not only met the high expectations set by Arjun Reddy but has also surpassed them, establishing itself as a significant success in the industry.
