Varun Dhawan recently admitted in an interview that he was a little distant and avoided interacting with Janhvi Kapoor during the first month of filming for the movie Bawaal.
The premiere of Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s forthcoming Nitesh Tiwari film Bawaal is rapidly approaching. A few days ago, the eagerly awaited movie teaser was unveiled during a gathering in Dubai. Varun and Janhvi then left the bay and were later seen at the Mumbai airport before heading back to the bay. It is clear from their social media teasing and paparazzi footage that Varun and Janhvi have a terrific friendship.
Varun Dhawan revealed in an interview that he initially tried this strategy where he wouldn’t talk to Janhvi Kapoor much for the first month that they were on set, believing that they would become friends right away. “Because I felt that if we kept up this friendship,” (snaps). I requested permission to be a little cold and distant. She won’t be the only one I talk to on purpose. When we were filming those kinds of situations, I thought it may provoke something in her and something in me, said Varun, adding that Nitesh Tiwari agreed.
Due to the fact that both of their characters in the movie progressively get to know each other, Varun Dhawan agreed that it did benefit them both at the time. Later, when Janhvi also became aware of his reason for being distant, he revealed it to her, according to Varun. “And after 20 days, I finally told her. Once she realized it, she stopped taking it personally. I know I acted selfishly, but I believe it benefited both of us at the moment. Actually, we got to know each other gradually as well, which was interesting, much like the couple in the movie did, added Varun.
On July 21, Bawaal will become available on Amazon Prime Video.
