Story:

Adolescence is a British psychological crime thriller television series about 13-year-old Jamie Miller whose life and family are destroyed when he is accused of murdering a fellow female student from his school. The detectives work to solve the case as the show explores topics such as the impact of toxic masculinity and the prevalence of bullying on the Internet and through social media platforms, as well as social alienation among modern teens.

Adolescence is distinct due to its filmmaking technique: each episode is filmed in one shot to create an atmosphere of anxiety and distress experienced by the characters in a very realistic way. Stephen Graham stars as the father of Jamie, who plays the part of a problematic kid brilliantly himself.
