“Tillu Square” starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran, had an outstanding first day at the box office. The film, directed by Mallik Ram and produced by Naga Vamsi for Sithara Entertainments, is looking intriguing. Interestingly, the producer, Dil Raju, also serves as the distributor for the big Nizam region.
This is very critical because he wants to recoup losses from his previous distribution of “Guntur Kaaram,” starring Mahesh Babu, which did mediocrely during Sankranti earlier this year. Due to the setback from “Guntur Kaaram,” Dil Raju secured the rights of “Tillu Square” at a reduced price of 7 crore.
However, the film has already made significant progress, earning a worldwide share of 3.7 crores and is expected to break even by today. Moreover, forecasts suggest it could exceed 20 crores in the Nizam area alone. The optimism surrounding “Tillu Square” is evident, with the team confident in their success.
Producer Naga Vamsi is particularly optimistic, predicting that the film will gross more than 100 crores globally. With such good expectations, it appears like “Tillu Square” will help offset the losses sustained by “Guntur Kaaram” for Dil Raju, indicating a successful turnaround for the producer distributer.
