Mohanlal Praises Telugu Cinema, Hints At A Telugu Film Soon

“L2: Empuraan” is set for a grand worldwide release in all Indian languages on March 27th. At the Telugu press conference, Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Dil Raju were present.

Mohanlal expressed his admiration and love for Telugu cinema saying he hopes to act in a Telugu film soon.

He praised the respect shown towards cinema and actors in the industry recalling his work with legendary stars like ANR.

He also encouraged audiences to watch Malayalam films just as they do Telugu, Tamil and Hindi movies.

Prithviraj addressed budget rumors challenging the audience to guess the actual cost, stating that Malayalam cinema delivers high quality films at a lower budget.

He also thanked Telugu audiences for their respect towards Malayalam cinema.
