The Raja Saab Moves To Sankranthi 2026 For A Festive Clash

Prabhas upcoming film The Raja Saab was initially announced for release on December 5th. However, with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar and Shahid Kapoor’s Romeo now confirmed for the same date, it’s clear that The Raja Saab is stepping away from that slot.

Adding to the buzz, the makers have reportedly shifted the release to Sankranthi 2026, with January 10th being the date locked and communicated to distributors.

Directed by Maruthi, Raja Saab is a horror comedy starring Prabhas and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. The film is now set to compete in a packed Sankranthi race.

Chiranjeevi and Anil’s fun entertainer, Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, and Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Raju are all aiming for the festive release.

Ravi Teja’s next with Kishore Tirumala is also likely to join the lineup. Typically the Sankranthi season can accommodate up to three big releases, making it a tight but exciting race.
