Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his unique storytelling, recently directed “Animal,” a Hindi film that has grossed over ₹860 crores worldwide. Initially, doubts lingered about its success in the Telugu market despite dedicated efforts in dubbing.
However, Ace producer Dil Raju confirmed that “Animal” amassed more than ₹60 crores gross in Telugu alone. The movie’s pace slowed after the release of “Salaar,” yet the distributor remains content due to its commendable three-week run.
Comparing “Animal” to Vanga’s previous Telugu film, “Arjun Reddy,” which grossed around ₹50 crores, “Animal” triumphs by surpassing this figure despite being a dubbed film. “Arjun Reddy” secured a share of ₹26 crores during its full Telugu box office run.
In contrast, “Animal” reaching ₹60 crores gross highlights its exceptional performance, especially considering Rashmika Mandanna as its sole recognizable face. This success underscores Vanga’s directorial prowess and storytelling finesse, marking “Animal” as an unexpected hit in the Telugu states. Vanga’s cinematic charm seems to have worked wonders once again!
