Shoib Nikash Shah, an actor and director, discussed working with Ankita Lokhande on the movie “The Final Coffee,” which he also directed.
She is a meticulous professional and a very nice actor, he added when discussing the partnership with Ankita Lokhande. She quickly grasped the character, and I vividly recall how she was able to reveal the best performances with a natural performance. That must be what it takes to be such an experienced actress, I suppose.
The main plot of the film is the tale of a couple who meet for one last cup of coffee before finalising their divorce but become stranded due to snowfall.
It focuses on how communication may resolve any issue.
“There was this sequence of Ankita and I that was of 6 minutes and I wanted it to be a one-take scene,” the “Country of Blind” actor recalled shooting for an hour. We took 4 takes total, of which 3 were acceptable, and I was just interested in capturing that shot for that day. It took us about an hour to perfect that sequence, which was great, memorable, and among the most gorgeous in the movie.
He also discussed how difficult it was to film in the snow and subzero conditions, how the roads were impassable, and how it was a life-or-death situation when they arrived at the scene.
Ankita Lokhande and Shoib Nikash Shah star in the Rahat Kazmi, Raj Kushwaha, and Sakshi Seth-produced film.
